Interpretation of the Imagery No interpretation
Type and Dating Middle-type picture stone, which means a Type B ʻdwarf stoneʼ, dating between AD 500 and 700. As far as can be assumed, the small fragment originates from a Type B stone featuring a convex head with corners protruding horizontally. Probably, due to its shape and decoration, the stone had been comparable to monuments like GP 147 Halla Broa X and other similar dwarf stones which are gathered in Lindqvist’s (1941/42 I, p. 37) Stenstugruppe.
