Context and Discovery
The stone was found in the storage of Gotlands Museum without bearing an inventory number. No further information.

Measurements, Material and Condition
Small fragment of a once large picture stone, probably less than 25 % of the original. Length of the fragment 43 cm, width max. 25 cm. It is 13 cm thick. All sides of the fragments are broken edges. The front side has been carefully smoothed before the ornaments were carved. No traces of secondary use or wear.

Description of Ornament and Images
The fragment is decorated in bas-relief, which is still quite clear, but due to the small size of the fragment, it is hard to tell what is depicted, probably waves and a part of a ship. The motif could also be read as some part of an animal with antlers, or as ribbon ornament or plant.

Interpretation of the Imagery
No interpretation

Type and Dating
Tall late type stone, probably type C/D after Lindqvist, 8th to 10th century.
